How do I get a quote?+
Use our Fast Estimate tool on the home page — enter your pickup and delivery addresses, pick your inventory size, and you'll see an instant price range. Lock it by submitting your name, phone, and move date. The whole thing takes under 60 seconds.
Are you licensed and insured?+
Yes. Albo Moving is fully licensed and insured for moves across the Philadelphia metro and the Tri-State area. Your belongings are covered while in our care.
What areas do you serve?+
We pick up anywhere in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware, and deliver across the continental US. Local moves cover the Philadelphia metro and surrounding counties.
How is the price calculated?+
Local moves are billed by the hour based on crew size and truck. Long-distance moves (over 50 miles) use a flat formula: $3/mile round trip + labor + fuel + tolls, with no hidden fees.
Are there hidden fees?+
No. We don't charge long-carry fees, stair fees, or surprise surcharges. The quote you lock is the price you pay. Tolls and fuel are shown in your breakdown upfront.
Do you pack for me?+
Yes. Our packing service wraps, boxes, and labels everything — you can also order just the supplies (boxes, tape, bubble wrap, wardrobe cartons) and pack yourself.
Do you disassemble and reassemble furniture?+
Yes. Our crew handles furniture disassembly and reassembly, so that IKEA dresser goes back together without the leftover screws this time.
Do you offer storage?+
Yes. If there's a gap between your move-out and move-in, we can hold your belongings in secure, climate-dry storage until you're ready.
How far in advance should I book?+
Three weeks' notice locks in your preferred date and gets you 5% off with our early-bird discount. Last-minute moves are still welcome based on availability.
What size truck do I need?+
It depends on your inventory: a 16ft truck fits a studio or small 1-bedroom, a 20ft handles a 2–3 bedroom home, and a 26ft covers larger homes. The quote tool recommends the right size automatically.
Should I tip the movers?+
Tipping is appreciated but never required. If you're happy with the crew, $20–$40 per mover for a local move is a common gesture.
What payment methods do you accept?+
We accept major credit cards and cash. Payment is collected at the end of your move once everything is delivered and you're satisfied.
